Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of generator-email.com ("we", "us", "the Service"), a free email generator. We have written them in plain language on purpose. By opening the site and generating or visiting an inbox, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, the right course of action is simply not to use the Service.
What the Service is
The Service creates, on demand, an email address on a domain we operate, and shows any mail that arrives to that address in your browser in real time. It is free, requires no account, and is receive-only — there is no way to send mail from it. Generated addresses are short-lived and their contents are removed automatically after a limited retention window. For how the mechanics work, see email generator explained.
Public inboxes — the key condition
You must understand and accept one thing before using the Service: generated inboxes are public by design. There is no password. Anyone who knows or guesses an address can open the same inbox and read what is in it. You therefore agree not to route anything private, financial, or security-sensitive — password resets for accounts you keep, two-factor codes you rely on, personal documents — through a generated address. Doing so is at your own risk, and the reasoning is explained in the privacy policy and the privacy & security guide.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, legitimate purposes and to follow our acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: use it to protect your own privacy, never to deceive, impersonate, defraud, or harm anyone else, and never to reach an inbox that is not yours. We may remove content, block an address or username, withdraw a domain from rotation, or restrict access — with or without notice — where we believe the policy has been breached or the Service is being abused.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that any given address will be accepted by a third-party site, that a message will arrive, or that mail will be retained for any particular length of time. Domains are rotated and may change or be withdrawn at any moment. Copy anything you need before you close the tab — see how long generated emails last.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including lost messages, missed verification codes, a third party reading an inbox, or the consequences of using a generated address where a permanent, private mailbox was needed. The Service is a free convenience tool, and you use it on that understanding.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use any address you generate and for the accounts you create with it. Because inboxes are public and short-lived, an account tied to a generated address may become inaccessible if you cannot receive a future email to it — for anything you intend to keep, use a real mailbox instead. Automated or bulk use that degrades the Service for others, or that attempts to overwhelm it, is not permitted.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, and its written guides are ours or used with permission, and are provided for your personal use of the Service. You may not copy the site wholesale, scrape it at scale, or present it as your own. The mail you receive belongs to whoever sent it and to you as its recipient — not to us.
Changes
We may change the Service and these terms as things evolve or as new forms of abuse appear. When the terms change in a meaningful way, we will update this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
